MICROARCHITECTURE© I 2.0 MORPHOGENESIS

We’re are excited to partner with our friends at MICROARCHITECTURE©  on creating their 2.0-MORPHOGENESIS Long Sleeve Shirt along with their new website launch.

UARCH.BIO - MICROARCHITECTURE©
is a research project drawing from technology, media, science, art and design disciplines.

This partnership was put together through months of conversations between the founder Tyrone Palmer, as we've been helping each other out with multiple projects.

We’ve used our Standard Fit Long-sleeve shirts for this collaboration, as it a silhouette that is made for everyone. We made sure not to make the arms or body too bulking for the right length to mix into almost anything in your wardrobe.

Three customers will have a chance of receiving a free RD-BNA-001 or RD-BND-02 with a purchase

Available now at uarch.bio and in our MICROARCHITECTURE© collections page.

MICROARCHITECTURE© I UARCH.BIO

Each piece is unique to its own and created through Volumetric Reaction Diffusion Mapping. Once the ring is rendered it is submitted and then printed in 3D. A mold is then made in a local jewelry studio and then casted into either silver or gold.

MICROARCHITECTURE© - 2.0 MORPHOGENESIS STANDARD FIT LONG SLEEVE BLACK

“The concept and idea around the graphic is how the "world building" as there's all these micro structures in nature. We don’t commonly think about how matter is the way it is, but when you look at it microscopically, it's actually quite beautiful. Nature has a way of using the most optimal methods when it comes to cellular structure for organic matter to grow

In the back I have this graphic of an African dancer with painting all over his body, but it looks a lot like the reaction diffusion patterning found in the sea in coral structures, or fish patterns etc. The idea is that he's foraging, and he touches this thing and the microarchitecture kinda engulfs him.

I got inspired by a magic the gathering card, where there's this metal fungus and anything alive turns into a sentient organic metal being, but everything metal that isn't sentient becomes sentient as well.”

CLO-3D GRAPHIC RENDERING

We’ve used our production pattern files to render our shirts into CLO 3D files and used it to mock up the initial graphic to test out the sizing. This process helped reduce the amount of sampling time and also were able to embed it on the updated UARCH.BIO - MICROARCHITECTURE© website.
